While in Peru I thought i had better order the local delicacy, a cuy (guinea pig). It was a bit of a shock to see a small animal many people keep as pets roasted and presented on a platter but ‘when in Rome‘…
I actually didn’t enjoy it, it was very tough and had very little meat on it as they have extrodinaryly large ribcage.
