Cambodia
Cambodia here we come!
A few years ago, my marketing agency, Brandlective, decided to commit to doing something bigger for the world. We wanted to do something beyond our day-to-day tasks so we set out to become a purpose-driven business.
During our research we came across the 2030 UN Sustainable Development Goals and felt particularly drawn to Goal 10: Reduced Inequality. By our annual team day in August 2018 we were discussing what we could do as a team for our the 2019 team event… the idea of visiting some of the projects we support was discussed. A year later, here we are off to Cambodia to learn from two of the NGO’s that we have worked closely with over the last 12 months, both through our giving initiative #1MillionDays and through our pro-bono work too.
More about that here:

Our two weeks in Cambodia consisted of a working our full time jobs, giving our time to the NGO’s and also squeezing in some tourism.
My highlights from Cambodia include:
Angkor Wat & the temples of Angkor
A village walk & prison visit with This Life Cambodia
A Mile in Serey’s Shoes with Free to Shine
The Killing Fields & S21 Prison
Eco-Tourism in Cambodia
Kickboxing in Siem Reap
