For years friends have told me how amazing Vegas is, but I’ve never had that much interest in it but since we were in San Francisco for my boyfriends birthday we decided to tack on a few days in Las Vegas and I am so glad we did…. IT IS INSANE!

Sin City. The Entertainment Capital of the World. Las Vegas goes by many names, but one thing is certain: The place grabs our attention with both its distinctive brand of glamour—extravagant-yet-chic hotels like the Wynn and the Cosmopolitan, nightclubs like Hakkasan and XS—and its sheer improbability, the fact that this monument of excess could spring up in the middle of a desert. One of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, Las Vegas is no longer just a place to play the tables and catch a Celine Dion show—it’s now a mecca for trade conventions, shopping, and fine dining. These days, Las Vegas is for the sinners and the saints.

The sheer size of it is something that I don’t think anyone can explain in words.  It feels like disneyland! The hotels are huge, it takes on average, 10-15min to walk to the hotel next door just due to how grand they are.  We’ve attend a bunch of shows, The mentalist, Cirque du Soleil – O and The Rat Pack.  We also visited the Mob Experience which was awesome!  I can imagine coming back to Vegas for a 100 different types of holidays, girls weekends, sun and spa holidays, casinos and clubs – with big groups of friends or just as a couple’s trip again!  I don’t think you would ever run out of things to do.

We took a craps lesson in our hotel casino which was great and gave us the confidence to gamble in these huge casinos, free drinks while your gambling – who could complain.
